The Millennium Trek is newest trekking area. It lies between south-east  Pokhara and north east of Walling Bazaar. This trek is suitable for people of all age groups. The trek provides an opportunity to enjoy the view of more than 30 villages including Tanahun & Syangja district. The trek also offers eye pleasing view of mountains and landscape, cultural aspects of different ethnic groups. The attractions of the trek are; mesmerizing views of sunrise and sunset, diversity of flora and fauna , exotic land topography with beautiful views of Himalaya range from Annapurna to Ganesh Himal.

The Millennium trek is one of the best way to experience Nepali culture. It is an action packed ,adventure filled experience. This trek is a citizen based tourism. There is inhabitance of more than 1,00,000 people in 9 VDCs (Village Development Committees). This area is ethnically diverse and culturally rich. The trekking period is 5 nights 6 days and each day different community are selected to prepare lunch and dinner. The cultural program is organized every evening by the locals. The food is totally organic and locally produced. Nothing is served imported. Visitors do not have right to choose their home, rather the community leader will be deciding your home on arrival in village. Guests are free to join in any household activities like cooking, weaving, farming, cattle grazing etc. according to their interest. The locals will welcome you at a community hall with a glass of welcome drink, garland and local musical band.

The main region of attraction throughout the trek is the “Millennium Cave”. It is an absolute natural cave starting through narrow jungle paths along creeks and cascades.

Therefore, the route is untouched & still unknowns to the foreigners and even domestic travelers too

The Millenium Trek es la más nueva área de trekking en Nepal y se encuentra al sureste de Pokhara y al noreste de Walling Bazaar. Este trek es recomendable para personas de todas las edades y otorga la oportunidad de conocer mas de 30 villas incluyendo los distritos de Tanahun y Syangja. El trek ofrece además la oportunidad de disfrutar de hermosas vistas de montaña y conocer aspectos culturales de diferentes grupos étnicos. El período de trekking es de seis días y cinco noches y cada día una comunidad prepara el almuerzo y la cena. Asimismo, el programa cultural de cada tarde es organizado por las comunidades locales. También la comida que se sirve es totalmente orgánica y localmente producida. Los visitantes no tienen el derecho a elegir su lugar de hospedaje, sino que es el lider de cada comunidad el que decide el hospedaje de cada visitante a la villa. Los visitantes son libres, eso si, de unirse a cualquier actividad típica de la comunidad, como cocinar, tejer, cultivar la tierra, pastoreo de ganado, etc. El principal atractivo natural de este trek es la Millenium Cave, la cual es una cueva absolutamente natural que parte a través de un angosto paso de jungla y sigue a lo largo de arroyos y cascadas. Por lo tanto, esta es una ruta desconocida para extranjeros e incluso para locales.

Day 01: Arrive in Kathmandu (1300M) Arrival in Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, a representative from Matterhorn Treks & Expedition will transfer to your hotel; we will brief about your trip activities. You’ll have rest of the day at leisure & Overnight at Hotel B/B.

Day 02:  Kathmandu Sightseeing
Sightseeing in Some of landmarks that are the World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupati Nath, the famous ‘Monkey Temple’ (Swayambhu Nath) and Buddhists shrine (Bouddha Nath. You can also make your last minute buying of personal items and preparation for the next day.

Day 03: Fly to Pokhara
After breakfast, we will drive to the airport  for a flight to Pokhara. 25 mints. flight to Pokhara is spectacular with Himalayan view all along it’s route. You can enjoy the ambiance in the natural setting with impending Himalayas in a distance. Walk along the Phewa Lake or go boating in the evening. Overnight at Hotel Full Board

Day  04:   Pokhara – Gachepani then trek to Rajasthal

Day  05:  Gachepani Trek to Pokharichhap (kolma)
Overnight at community Lodge Full Board

Day  06: Pokharichhap (kolma)-Trek to Pelkachaur
Overnight at community Lodge Full Board

Day  07: Pelkachaur Trek to Majhkotsibalaya
Overnight at community Lodge Full Board

Day  08: Majhkotsibalaya Trek to Kusum Bhanjyang. Then  we drive to pokhara transfer to the Hotel,Overnight at Hotel B.B Plan.

Day 09: Drive from Pokhara to Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264ft)
Morning we will drive by regular tourist bus  through the scenic countryside and en route will stop for breakfast & lunch. It takes 7 hours back to Kathmandu. On arrival at Kathmandu guide will transfer to the hotel and rest of the day relax or explore the surrounding areas.

Day  10: Kathmandu
This pleasant day you may have full day at leisure at your own or can be extends your extra trip with us on additional cost or time to explore the Thamel for last day shopping and evening Matterhorn Treks & Expedition will take you for Farewell dinner.

Day 11: Departure from Kathmandu
Matterhorn Treks & Expedition will 
transferred to the International Airport for your departure flight to your onwards destination.

Día 1: Arribo a Katmandú (1.300 mts)
Llegada al Aeropuerto Internacional Tribhuvan de Katmandú donde un representante de Matterhorn le llevará a su hotel. En este lugar se hará una breve descripción sobre su viaje. El resto del día es libre.

Día 2: Katmandú y sus atractivos
Visita a algunos de los principales atractivos que forman parte de los Sitios Patrimonio de la Humanidad de Katmandú como son: Dubar Square, el templo sagrado hinduista de Pashupati Nath, el famoso Monkey Temple (Swayambhu Nath) y el santuario budista de Bouddha Nath.

Día 3: Katmandú – Pokhara
Temprano en la mañana y después del desayuno, se dirige al aeropuerto local para volar a Pokhara. Después de 25 minutos de vuelo con espectaculares vistas de los Himalaya se arriba a Pokhara donde se podrá disfrutar un ambiente relajado junto al lago Phewa.

Día 5: Rajasthal – Pokharichhap (Kolma)
Día 6: Pokharichhap (Kolma) – Pelkachaur
Día 7: Pelkachaur – Majhkotsibalaya
Día 8: Majhkotsilabaya – Kusum Bhanjyang – Pokhara
Día 9: Pokhara – Katmandú
Por la mañana, se toma un viaje de 7 horas en bus regular con destino a Katmandú. En la ruta se detienen para desayunar y almorzar. Arribando a Katmandú cada uno de los pasajeros es dirigido a sus respectivos hoteles.

Día de relajo para explorar Thamel y realizar las últimas actividades. Por la tarde Matterhorn Treks & Expeditions organiza una cena de despedida.

Día 11: Partida desde Katmandú
Matterhorn Treks & Expeditions transporta cada pasajero al Aeropuerto Internacional para la toma de los respectivos vuelos que lo llevarán a su destinación.
