Nepal is a country blessed not only with natural beauty; rather it is nature’s pride owing to its rich wildlife and exceptional biodiversity. The exotic tropical jungle of the Terai has sheltered numerous endangered animals.
Among the several National Parks and Wildlife Reserves, Royal Chitwan National Park and Bardiya National Park are the choicest ones. Royal Chitwan National Park is the first national park of Nepal sprawling upon an area of 968sq.km.
It is also counted as one of the leading national parks in the whole of Asia. It is a natural habitat for myriad of animal species like wild elephants, rhinoceroses, Bengal tiger, gharial crocodile and black buck. Royal Sukla Pantha National Park is another noteworthy park while Koshi Tappu is unparalled for its exotic birds. On the other hand, Parsa Wildlife is famous for its uncountable herds of elephants. You can enjoy a superb jungle safari with us that include all the fun filled activities like elephant rides, canoe rides, fishing, jungle walks, jungle drives, village tours and tiger tracking.
Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrival in Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, a representative from Matterhorn Treks & Expedition will transfer to your hotel, We will brief about your trip activities. You’ll have rest of the day at leisure.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing
Sightseeing in Some of landmarks that are the World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of (Pashupati Nath), the famous ‘Monkey Temple’ (Swayambhu Nath) and Buddhists shrine (Bouddha Nath). You can also make your last minute buying of personal items and preparation for the next day.

Day 03: Drive to Chitwan Altitude: 150 m/492 ft
Distance of driving: 4 hrs drive
Place we visit: visit Tharu village, the National Park Visitors Center & Sunset view from the riverbank
Day 04:Explore Chitwan
Our activities Canoeing, Nature Walk, Elephant breeding center, Elephant back Safari & Tharu Cultural dance.
After breakfast, Dugout canoe trip followed by a Nature Walk Program or a visit to the Elephant Breeding Farm. Enjoy an ox-cart ride or a jeep drive back to the resort. After a refreshment you can wash the elephants and swim with them in the Rapti River. You will be entertained with Tharu stick dance and different cultural performances with the bonfire. O/N at Chitwan Park.
Day 05: Drive to Kathmandu
After Breakfast we drive back to Kathmandu 5 hours.

Day 06: Kathmandu: This pleasant day you may have full day at leisure at your own or can be extends your extra trip with us on additional cost or time to explore the Thamel for last day shopping and evening Matterhorn Treks & Expedition will take you for Farewell dinner.

Day 07: Departure from Kathmandu
Matterhorn Treks & Expedition will transferred to the International Airport for your departure flight to your on wards destination.
Día 1: Arribo a Katmandú (1.300 mts)
Llegada al Aeropuerto Internacional Tribhuvan de Katmandú donde un representante de Matterhorn le llevará a su hotel. En este lugar se hará una breve descripción sobre su viaje. El resto del día es libre.
Día 2: Katmandú y sus atractivos
Visita a algunos de los principales atractivos que forman parte de los Sitios Patrimonio de la Humanidad de Katmandú como son: Dubar Square, el templo sagrado hinduista de Pashupati Nath, el famoso Monkey Temple (Swayambhu Nath) y el santuario budista de Bouddha Nath.
Día 3: Katmandú – Chitwan
Por la mañana se conduce al Parque Nacional Chitwan, el cual es considerado como uno de los mayores tesoros naturales del país. El viaje dura unas 4 horas.
A la llegada se visita la villa de Tharu, el centro de visitas del parque y se contempla la puesta de sol desde la orilla del río.
Día 4: Explorando Chitwan
Después de desayunar se realiza viaje en canoa tipo Dugout para seguir con un programa de caminata en la naturaleza o una visita a la Granja de Cría de Elefantes.
Luego se puede elegir montar en un carro de bueyes o bien tomar el jeep para volver al resort. Tras un refresco se puede ayudar a lavar los elefantes y nadar junto a ellos en el río Rapti.
Finalmente, se podrá disfrutar con la danza del palo Tharu y diferentes presentaciones culturales alrededor de una hoguera.
Día 5: Chitwan – Katmandú
Por la mañana se conduce unas 5 horas para arribar a Katmandú.
Día 6: Katmandú
Día de relajo para explorar Thamel y realizar las últimas actividades. Por la tarde Matterhorn Treks & Expeditions organiza una cena de despedida.
Día 7: Partida desde Katmandú
Matterhorn Treks & Expeditions transporta cada pasajero al Aeropuerto Internacional para la toma de los respectivos vuelos que lo llevarán a su destinación.
