Ganjala Pass Trek is great trekking trails situated in Langtang region. Ganjala pass trek Start from Syabru Bensi 7-8 hrs drive from kathmandu and next day we trek flow the right of Langtang Khola till to get Kaynjin Gompa and unique Tamang and Sherpa villave of Langtang. The trek starts from Sybru Bensi and to end at Melamchi Bazaar. Heights of Kyanjin Gompa to be found at (3,860 m) around the 5 km south of kyanjin Gompa lies famous peaks of Naya khang (5,846 m) and south east site Pomggen Dopku ( 5,930 m). The valley of Kanjin Gompa is surrounded by Mt: Langtang lirung (7,245 m) Yala peak (5,732 m) Mt: Dorje Lakpa (6,966 m) Langshisha peak and north east lies Mt: Khangchhenpo jewelry of Langtang valleys.
Whole of Langtang valley is the Buddhist region, in Kyanjin Gompa there are also the small old monastery every year in August at full moon time celebrating Dukpa chhizu festival it is very well-known fest in Langtang valley. In Kaynjin Gompa is furthermore famous for real Yak cheese factory in progress in 1955 AD by Swiss Association for manufacturing support. After exploring the kyanjin Gompa we heading to crossing the Ganjala pass from the pass we will have great attractive sceneries of Mt: Langtang lirung and further than Tibetan Himalayan. Descend from the pass again one steep is very slope for roughly 1km we once more requires of good care. After this part the rest of the trails are trouble-free and comfortable. The group should be well equipped with enough food. For the Ganjala pass trek we organized only Camping trek, so all supplies should be taken with us because the use of firewood is also prohibited within the Langtand National park. Behind the Ganjala Pass, the path we flow to Malemchigaon and Tarke Ghyang. People here call Helmo Sherpa and they follow the Buddhist religion we can discover many old Buddhist monasteries people follows Buddhism like Bhutanese style. After the Helambu we trek down to Melamchi pul bazaar and from there we drive back to Kathmandu. Day 01: Arrival in Kathmandu
Arrival in Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, a representative from Matterhorn Treks & Expedition will transfer to your hotel, We will brief about your trip activities. You’ll have rest of the day at leisure.

Day 02: Kathmandu Sightseeing
Sightseeing in Some of landmarks that are the World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of Pashupati Nath, the famous ‘Monkey Temple’ (Swayambhu Nath) and Buddhists shrine (Bouddha Nath). You can also make your last minute buying of personal items and preparation for the next day.

Day 03: Drive from Kathmandu to Syabru Besi (8 hours)
After the breakfast we drive out along the north-western hills of Kathmandu. Enjoy the Himalayan views and mountainous lifestyle through the terraced fields and rustic villages. Take Lunch at the Trishuli Bazar before continuing further to Dhunche. From Dhunche, we descend down to Syabrubesi. Over night at Hotel.
Day 04: Syabru Besi Trek to Lama Hotel (2748m)
After breakfast we will cross over to the bank of the Langtang river and start out on the trail through a thick forest filled with oak, pine and bamboo trees. We may spot some wildlife such as the local monkeys, wild boar and if we are lucky the Himalayan black bear or the endangered red panda.
The route hugs the river bank for 2 hours before starting a gentle ascend until we reach Lama hotel after 6 hours. Lama hotel is located on the bank of the river so we fall asleep to sound of rushing water. Overnight at Lodge.
Day 05: Lama Hotel to Langtang Village (3500m)
We leave Lama Hotel and continue to gain altitude while walking through wonderful mountain scenery with the flowing river nearby and surrounding waterfalls. As we reach the green meadows of Ghora Tabela the snowy white peaks of the Langtang range come into view.
After walking for about 3 hours we reach Langtang village, which is the headquarters of Langtang National Park. The village’s water-driven mills, flat-roofed Tibetan style houses and prayer wheels lend a quaint charm. Once settled at our guesthouse you can take some time to explore the village and the local yak cheese factory. Overnight at Lodge
Day 06: Langtang Village Trek to Kyangjin Gompa (3800m)
Rising early we continue down Langtang valley through tiny ethnic Tibetan villages and past yaks and horses grazing in terraced fields until we reach Kyangjin Gompa after about 4 hours.
Situated on a small plain surrounded by the snowy peaks of the Langtang Range – Dorje Larpa (6990m), Langtang Ri (6370m), Langtang Lirung (7245m) and Yala Peak (5520m), Kyangjin Gompa has a monastery, a government run cheese factory (built with Swiss assistance) and a few houses and lodges. Due to its high altitude Kyangjin Gompa is not occupied in winter, but during trekking season it provides a welcoming sight far into Langtang valley. Overnight at Lodge
Day 07: Explore the area around Kyangjin Gompa or climb Tserko Ri (5000m)
Today you can either choose to rest and visit the nearby monastery and cheese factory or climb the nearby Tserko Ri.
Situated at 5033m, Tserko Ri is a steep climb from Kyangjin Gompa taking about two hours. However, the spectacular mountain views available of the surrounding peaks and up and down the Langtang valley offer plentiful reward. This is the pinnacle of the Langtang trek and energy permitting the ascent of Tserko Ri should defiantly be undertaken so that you can take in Langtang’s snowcapped mountain range in all its glory.Overnight at Lodge
Day 08:Trek to Ganja La Phedi (4300m) 5 hrs
Our journey to Ganja La Phedi is definitely a beautiful one as we cross the Langtang river and enter the evergreen blooming Rhododendron forests. Being in high elevation, the trek becomes challenging. During the winters, because of the snow it may take longer to trek.
Day 09:Cross the Ganja La Pass (5,122m) Trek to Keldang (4,250m) 6-7 hrs
Trekking to Ganja La Pass will be a challenging trek as it is one of the difficult passes to cross being in a high elevation and also because it is mostly covered with snow throughout the year. Ganja La Pass is located on a rocky debris and thus gives an amazing view of the mountains. As challenging the trek is, it is equally rewarding with the beauty as you will be astonished. After taking in the view, we will incline down to Keldang and as mentioned the trek may be tricky.
Day 10: Trek to Dhukpa (4,040m) 5-6 hrs
As we descend down, the trail becomes easier to pass. We will trek through many forests and fields. The trek would only be about 5 to 6 hours.
Day 11: Trek to Tarke Gyang (2,590m) 5-6 hrs
Continuing down the trail, we will see more grasslands and will be nearing to small villages. The trail eventually becomes more easy to walk through. At this point, appreciation for the nature will be acknowledged as it will be greenery everywhere.
Day 12: Drive from Tarke Gyang to Kathmandu (1350) which takes approximately 7 hours, transfer to hotel B/B plan.
Day 13 Kathmandu
This pleasant day you may have full day at leisure at your own or can be extends your extra trip with us on additional cost or time to explore the Thamel for last day shopping and evening Matterhorn Treks & Expedition will take you for Farewell dinner.

Day 14 Departure from Kathmandu
Matterhorn treks & Expedition will transferred to the International Airport your departure flight to your onward destination.
