Teri-La Pass newly explored Trek is a newly explored Trekking route in 2006. It is challenging and very popular trekking trail with beaten track and difficult pass. Teri-La is located in remote parts of Mustang region of Damodar Himal, close to the border of China (Tibet). The trails are rugged, cutting high into cliff sides and pass villages that have changed little over the centuries. Teri-La Trek can be done in anti-clockwise for which the trek start from Phu and then ascend to Teri-La pass and enter in the Mustang “Hidden Valley” and return to Jomsom or clockwise for which the trek start from Jomsom and follow Upper Mustang trail and descend to Nar-Phu valley and end at Besisahar. The trek starts from one place to another with great sceneries, cultures, religion and geographical variations. Hence trekkers can enjoy the fantastic and picturesque views of diversity in this region. Saribang trekking and trek will start from one region and end another trekking region by enjoying scenery, religions, geographic elevation. The trekkers and climbers really enjoy its fantastic and picturesque views of Himalaya and beyond. During the trekking, trekkers meet different villages, monasteries, culture and religion of Tibetan style.
Day 01:Arrival day in Kathmandu (1,300 m)
Arrival in Kathmandu Tribhuvan International Airport, a representative from Matterhorn Treks & Expedition will transfer to your hotel; we will brief about your trip activities. You’ll have rest of the day at leisure & Overnight at Hotel B/B.
Day 02: KT M Sightseeing Tour & Preparation
Sightseeing in some of landmarks that are the World Heritage Sites of Kathmandu Durbar Square, the sacred Hindu temple of (Pashupati Nath), the famous ‘Monkey Temple’ (Swayambhu Nath) and Buddhists shrine (Bouddha Nath). You can also make your last minute buying of personal items and preparation for the next day. Overnight at Hotel B/B.
Day 03: Drive to Bhulbhule (830 m) by bus, 8 hours
After breakfast we drive 6-7 hrs by private transport to Bhulbhule through the scenic countryside and river view. This is an interesting drive through the foothills of the Himalaya. En-route to Pokhara our route diverts from the town village of Dumre towards north to Beshishahar. This is big town and district headquarters of the Lamjung.

Day 04: Drive from Bhulbule to Koto (2600m) 4/5 hours drive
Overnight at the Lodge on Full board.
Day 05: Trek from Koto to Meta 3570m/6-7 hours (Nar-Phu Valley Restricted Area Permit Entry)
From today we enter the restricted area with our permits and continue our trek along Naar Khola. Trekking through dense forests of juniper and pine, we cross a suspension bridge and reach Dharmasala. We come across a beautiful waterfall on our way to Meta. After trekking for 6/ 7 hours, we reach Meta. Overnight at a lodge or TentFull board.
Day 06: Trek from Meta to Phu 3900m/6- hours
Crossing few suspension bridges over different water streams, we pass small villages of Jhunam, Chyakhu, and Kyang. We trek along Phu Khola on rocky trails till we reach Phu. We may encounter blue sheep grazing in the field. We take a tour of Tashi Lakhang Monastery which is said to be the last monastery made by Karmapa Rinpoche. Overnight at a lodge or Tent Full board.
Day0 7: Exploration Day in Phu village.
Today we will rest at Phu village for exploration. After a long walk, we need to take rest and acclimatize ourselves to the Phu is thinning of the air at this altitude. Phu is a beautiful village inhabited by the mixed ethnic groups like Gurung, Ghale, and Tibetans. We will get a chance to know about their culture, tradition, and lifestyle. We will also visit the monastery called Tashi Lhakhang Monastery, which was the last monastery built by Karmapa Rinpoche. Overnight at a lodge or Tent Full board.
Day 08: Trek from Phu to Nar 4100m/6-7 hours
Trekking across Phu Pass (5050m) and Nar Pass (5400m) and crossing many small streams on suspension bridges, we pass lush Himalayan forests to reach Mahendra Pul. We trek through the gorge of Labse River before descending downhill to Nar. We will pass many Buddhist stupas and monasteries on our way to Nar. Overnight at a lodge or Ten Full board.
Day 09: Nar Trek to Yak Kharka 4375 m to Lapse Khola Camp (4500 m) 8 hours
Leaving Naar we descend to the valley of the Lapse Khola and crossing the river, we climb to camp in Yak pastures, overnight we camp at Lhapse Khola. Overnight at TentFull board.
Day 10: Lapse Khola Trek to High Camp (4,900 m) 5.1/2 hours.
The trail follows the Lapse Khola high above the river keeping approximately to the 4400 m contour with ascents and descents to negotiate several side valleys. Towards the end of the days trek we meet the river. Overnight at TentFull board.
Day 11: High Camp ,Cross Teri La (5,595 m) &descend to Pasphu Khola camp (4,750 m) 8/9 hours.
Still following the main Lapse Khola we climb up to a high camp below the pass. We cross the Teri La with tremendous views over the Himalaya and north to Tibet. We descend to a camp beside the Pasphu Khola. Overnight at TentFull board.
Day 12: Pasphu Khola camp Trek to Yakpa (4300 m) 6 hours.
We have a long day of downhill but still with several climbs to negotiate tributary streams. Today we reach Yakpa in the Upper Kali Gandaki Valley. Overnight at TentFull board.
Day 13: Yakpa Trek to Tangge (3750 m) 6 hours.
Another long descent today to reach the village of Tangga in Upper Mustang. Tangga is a fascinating place and this is a great opportunity for an insight into local life in this trans-Himalayan village. Overnight at TentFull board.
Day 14: Tangge Trek to Yara Gaon 3600 m 5 hours.
Descending the valley of the Puyung Khola we reach the village of Yara Gaon, Overnight at a lodge or Ten Full board.
Day 15: Yara Gaon trek to Lo-Manthang (3770 m) 5 hours
Descending to the Kali Gandaki river we cross to the western bank and make a gradual ascent to Lo-Manthang, the capital of Mustang. Overnight at a lodge or Ten Full board.
Day 16: Lo -Manthang(3770 m)
A day for exploring in and around Lo Manthang, with its narrow alleyways and brightly painted houses and chortens. Overnight at a lodge or Ten Full board.
Day 17:Lo-Manthang Trek to Gemi (3510 m)7 hours
Beginning our trek out of Mustang down the Kali Gandaki Valley there are two route options. Depending on which is chosen, we will today cross the Chogo La (4230 m). visit Ghar Gumba (3920 m) overnight at Ghemi (3510 m). Overnight at a lodge or Ten Full board.
Day 18: Gemi Trek to Samar (3620 m.)6 hours.Shyangmochen La (3800 m.)
we trek to Samar, we visit Ranchung Cave on the way to Samar. Overnight at a lodge or Ten Full board. .
Day 19: Samar Trek to Kagbeni (2800 m)5,hours
The Chele La (3630m) to Chele,where we cross the upper Kali Gandaki on a metal bridge,then meander through Chukksang and Tangbe to finally reach Kagbeni (2810 m..) where we make our final camp on full board.
Day 20: Kagbeni Trek to Jomsom 2 hours.
Today we continue walk along the Kali Gandaki river a flat path until you reach Jomsom. Stay overnight at lodge on full board.
Day 21:Flight from Jomsom to Pokhara Kathmandu
This morning we pack our bags and get ready for the exciting mountain scenic flight to Pokhara. The flight transit through between two high peaks Mt. Annapurna (8,091 m) and Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167 m) and we Fly continue to Kathmandu, transfer to Hotel. Overnight at Hotel B/B.
Day 22:Kathmandu
This pleasant day you may have full day at leisure at your own or can be extends your extra trip with us on additional cost or time to explore the Thamel for last day shopping and evening Matterhorn Treks & Expedition will take you for Farewell dinner. Overnight at Hotel B/B
Day 23:Departure from Kathmandu
Matterhorn Treks & Expedition will transferred to the International Airport for your departure flight to your on wards destination
